-Happy Teachers Day. =)-

yea, today was teachers day. so... HAPPY TEACHERS DAY! haha.. its quite true lah, a teacher's job is one of the most stressful.. so, hope all you teachers enjoyed this day, cuz its probably the only day when u all can scream and all that and we cant really say much. LOL. haha...

went back to henry park. yea, i really dont know what to say about my primary school life. didnt really cherish it well. not so much the teachers but more of the company.. sad that i was quite a fool last time.. still might be now.. but it was like after i left henry park i totally lost contact with everyone except for those who went to sji with me. so meeting up some old friends and getting contacts was quite nice.. finally doing something about the past.. lets see, met nicholas liang, zi rui, tsu hui, chien ying, wei wen, sheng yi, sharon, melissa, sing suen and some others.. sadly, didnt manage to have lunch together. oh wells, in the end me, kai jie, melissa and sing suen went to king alber park for macs. haha...

Just wanna wish happy teachers day to all the teachers who taught me, no matter what you people did, it was probably out of kindness, love, or desparation. lol... thanks to:
Ms Periasamy
Mrs Tan Choy Pin
Ms Ong Mei Fen
Mr Gary Sim
Ms Rosalind Matthews
Mr Rohan
Mdm Lily Kwang
Ms Beryl Ang
Mr Alvin Chua
Ms Josephine Wee
Ms Gina Tan
Mr Chen Ling Kwok
Mrs Seah Geok Sim
Ms Wong Wah Lee
Mr Bamanshaw
Mr Irwan
Mrs Uma Chong
Ms Goh Chai Ee
Mrs Toh Kah Beng
Mrs Tang

As much as you hate me or i hate you, still, hope you enjoyed today! this happiness only lasts until friday, where it will be back to school and all you teachers will get to see us students, and then start the screaming and all that kind of stuff again. lol....

-Eurojam Gathering-

ok, today we gathered at tony aka june ren house to compile all the photos and videos taken at eurojam.. haha, really damn lame looking at the photos june ren took, trent acting like a hmmm.. chimpanzee? lol.. then watching all the videos on juneren's computer... haha, really brought back some great memories.. really wished that i could be back.

anyways, back to real life. Final Year Exams are not getting further away, rather getting closer with everyday. i know that have to strat studying but i just cant find it in me to actually start. like rod said "the painful first step" or something like that.. yes, painful as it is, it is neccessary for me to actually scrape through. i missed two weeks in school, which did cause abit of confusion here and there.. im still not very sure what is going on in chemistry right now.. and i am trying to catch up with other areas, such as scouting. yes, i agree that i am not a very good trainer, i am doing the best i can, especially when i dont have a trainer file with me so i dont know what the sec 2s have done and what they havent..

I stare in to the darkness,
Looking for a hand.
But all that i perceive,
is a rope's moldy end.
~I need help.~

-2nd Week of School after Eurojam-

as you can see from the title, i still am thinking of eurojam. yes, it is truly an unforgetable experience, really impacted my life greatly. wish that i was back in eurojam with everyone, all of the singapore contingent, the same subcamp and the same people next to us. if u asked me whether i would go for it again, i definitely would say yes. such a great time spent there.. i really miss all the people there, all the days we spent there. i can even remember the first day when we touched down from the plane. we were just getting all our stuff, after we cleared the customs, gathered all our bags and we were just rushing from place to place being led by one of the eurojam staff/ist. then after going through what seemed like a maze, we finally ended up near some shops, and we rested. we waited for the french to arrive and in the mean time grabbed a quick bite. we checked the whole area and found out something quite shocking: prices in london are just like the prices would be in singapore, only they use pounds instead of sing dollars. meaning, its like x3 there. whoa. expensive. so just about everyone settled for whistletop's sandwich combo, sandwich, packet of chips and a bottled drink for 3 pounds. it IS expensive. this lunch would actually be the type of lunch we would be having for a long time.. so anyway, the french arrived, we boarded the bus to bring us there, then slept on the bus. lol. when we reached this field, we got out of the bus for a while, took a group photo with malcolm's camera. oh btw, the french, or rather europeans, have really cool hair styles. spiked and coloured! haha.. so different from singapore.. so anyway, got back on the bus, then got out of the field and the bus brought us to Hyland Park, Chelmsford. the place was really cool for a campsite. it had like, metal sheets on the ground for walk ways. thats was like, wow. then we got off the bus, and we realised that we were quite late, in terms of when we arrived. its like, almost everyone had their campsite had up and ready. flags were flying, food was frying, and everyone seemed pretty much settled. so we set up our campsite, the uk contingent next to us was so kind, they lent us their spare kitchen shed. =) if not, i cant really imagine what we would have to do.. probably construct one out of groundsheets. not a good idea. so ya, thanks again for the kitchen shed! then some of us started cooking dinner, the rest set up the tents. cant really remember what we ate though.. so after that we were like washing up, then we had some free time. this is when tony aka june ren told us the phrase "Own Time Own Target (OTOT)" lol... just basically means do whatever you want. so yea, i think we just slacked around. oh yea, indoneasians were going around singing songs already. haha. i think if im not wrong me and eugene went to the dance tent. o well, european girls are quite friendly. =D then that night i just fell asleep, without a sleeping bag. lol. i just went into the tent and then just went off into sleep. woke up a few times in the middle of the night, shivering and then trent helped me to get some stuff to cover me. thanks trent! thats basically the first day.. alot of parts were missed out, mainly cuz i cant remember and i dont have the time.. but yea, eurojam was fun! wish i could be there again! world jam is only 2 years away. ahaha...

to all the other people who read my blog but didnt understand what i was saying, nevermind. a few updates in school:
physics test- failed my heat capacity and latent heat test. 3/10. didnt study. bah..
a math test- i actually really studied for this test and guess what, i managed to pass! 25/40. not boasting, im just well, happy that something i put effort into has paid off.
first official scout meeting- ya, had my first scout meeting after eurojam and stepping up. training a level is quite weird and tiring. it really isnt easy trying to train at a level. oh well, its the first meeting, wont base anything on it yet, since it is the first and there were quite a lot of people who didnt go.. but if you think that i punish you for fun, please sort it out with me.

-1st Week in School after Eurojam...-

my first week in school has been quite hectic, been trying to catch up with all the work lost, taking tests which i missed. took emath test and social studies test on monday. failed emath, then had a retake on thursday. managed to pass after that. for social studies, i didnt do the essay, cuz i couldnt remember any content.. haha. so i handed in a blank script. not very funny though. oh wells, later was told that it would be discounted in some sense cuz my teachers agreed that it would be nearly impossible to study at a jamboree. how nice! physics test on monday, amath test on tuesday. hope i can pass physics.

first meeting of scouts. had plc, patrol leader's council. david kwang was telling us that it would be sad that if you did not get the post u wanted and then dont contribute anymore. wonder if he was referring to anyone specifically, such as.. me? anyways, i think that the scouts unit is going to get better under us. =) i have faith in my level and me, and i believe we have the ability to do the unit proud.

i offically received my post of patrol leader of leopard. yes, having the lanyard around my neck does in some sense pay off, though it could have been better. leopard, my patrol since sec 1. finally taking over as pl is quite honorable, taking after zunchen, bernadus and eugene chum. i will do the job well. =)

now time for me to start my mugging...

what can i say.. eurojam was just a really great experience. really cant find words to describe how i feel about going to the jamboree. it was probably one of the best days i have had in my life so far. being able to just go up to people and say hi with so much ease was very nice. everyone was just so friendly, so nice. felt great talking to so many people and making friends. really thankful to be given the chance to go to the eurojam. quoting from kelvin "Through badges it shall stay with me, through contacts it shall be kept alive, Eurojam shall never die." or something like that... anyways, i agree with him. the people were just great. i want to thank:
