-Sec 3 RME Retreat-
Whoa.. my sec 3 rme retreat was from friday to saturday... It was a truly great experience. for those who havent gone for it yet, you have the option to read or not to read what went on. all i haf to say is that if there will be less of an impact if u noe wat is going to happen.
~highlight to read~
Friday: 2.30pm-assembled in lt1. briefing. then left for FMM house of prayer.
3.30pm- reached FMM house of prayer. went to our dormitories, left our bags, changedd and rested.
4.00pm- had games. organised by Bernard Teo. was quite fun. first game_ bring a ball to the other side. every1 must touch the ball. ya.... second game_each person takes a card. it will have 2 words on it, one in black, one in red. u represent the black and you are supposed to find to red. e.g. Boy ang Girl. boy is black, girl is red. u are boy, and supposed to find girl, and girl is supposed to find u. thats kinda wat happened to me. 3rd game_the person u found for the second game is ur partner. then u are supposed to "mirror" his moves. then he will guide you thru an obstacle course.
7.00pm- dinner.
8.00pm- gathered in the 2nd floor room. found out the theme of the retreat. Fellowship of the Weak. spin off from LOTR. watched a short movie clip. then supposed to create a skit. was damn funny watching all the groups. very funny. my group did smt like a royal rumble, which had LOTR, star wars, harry potter and WWE... lol..
11.00pm- supper, then lights out.
Saturday: 8.00am- wake up, then pt. wah, shiok man...first camp that could actually sleep until so late.. but pt was quite a bad... or maybe im just really unfit. =P
9.00am- breakfast. then had sort of like a puzzle game. v funny watching all the groups get the pieces together, and the results were really weird. haha..
1.00 pm- lunch. some ppl were really bored, so took a ball, played soccer. i had 2 cups of coffee. nescafe. felt hyper.
2.00pm- played more games. REALLY GROSS!! 1st game_select one of your group members. then dress him up for a beauty pageant. wahahaa.. some of them had like, only their shorts and a few strands of toilet roll arnd them?? lol... 2nd game_after the beauty pageant, now a waterbomb game. main objective, keep ur model in the best shape. my grp won. had only the skirt on left. really lame. 3rd game_k, this is the sick one.. take twwo bananas, stuff them under ur armpit, then have a relay, and ur only allowed to hop. then the next part was in between the legs. (-.^) just gross.
6.00pm- after bathing, changing and all that, gathered back in the room. then watched this video, taken from
7.45pm- dinner. was a really nice dinner. the facilitators were really nice. then arranged the tables in like a circle, then there were candles. very nice ambience.
8.30pm- had praise and worship. then confession. was a long time since i had confession. stoned while waiting. in the end had like a mass confession, cuz it was getting late. wat to do, abt 60 ppl and only 2 priests. then had a letter from Jesus.
11.00pm- supper. a lot of ppl gathered in the canteen. then one of the facilitators brought a protable radio, then placed it on the table. every1 gathered arnd it and listened to the match between man u and arse-senal. grr... man u lost.. but it was nice just seeing all the ppl gathering around 1 small radio and listening.
1.00am- slept.
Sunday: 7.30am- early mass. celebrated by friar. then mad rush to clean up the place.
11.00am- left the place, took bus home.
